The monolithic building is composed of a striking roof plane resting atop several timber blocks - a softly toned pine cladding references the vegetation of the beach perimeter and celebrates material restraint. Beneath the roofline, large openings and sliding doors are curated to respect budget without impacting the qualities of the natural landscape. From the garden courtyards, ocean views are accessible through interior spaces of the home, defining it as a pavilion on the beachfront deeply connected with the seaside setting.
